What Can’t Be Managed?

In a single word – TIME. It is a precious and limited commodity. Everyone has only 8760 hours in a year. We cannot save the 24 hours from yesterday for today nor can we work harder today to have more hours tomorrow. What we can manage is how we make use of this valuable resource. By managing ourselves, and therefore how we use our time, we can increase our productivity. To do this requires change because if we do the same thing in the same way, we will obtain the same results. Researchers have learned that approximately 95% of what we do every day is done by habit which includes our attitudes. The way we think directs our actions and clearly our actions determine our results. So for better results we need to change our habits of thought. When we do this, we can control what we can accomplish with our day. Time management is a misnomer.
